Vinyasa | Grounded in Transition - Earth & Air Flow

55 MINUTE | VINYASA | ALL LEVELS

Grounded in Transition Vinyasa Yoga Flow

Life is undeniably dynamic. Nature reminds us that everything is fluid, changing and impermanent. There is a cycle of life, death, life that we witness in Nature and within our own cycles of becoming. When we resist change, it can feel like trying to hold water as is it slips through our hands. This is a practice of embracing transition and inviting oneself to stay grounded in presence as change occurs.

Enjoy a 55 minute creative vinyasa flow that incorporates air and ether elements {the concept of movement} through unexpected transitions, while working hip opening and balance poses to cultivate Earth element, grounding and stability. The flow is rooted in Ayurvedic wisdom, and encourages ways to develop more ease amidst the discomfort of change and impermanence.

What to expect: Hip opening postures to stay grounded through some fun and funky transitions. Working towards Vasisthasana variations - side plank variations.

Suggested Props: Two bricks at front of mat.

Filmed in Red Rock Canyon, Las Vegas, USA.
