A place to practice together

One of the greatest gifts of yoga is the freedom to become the purveyors of our own peace and wholeness.

It’s a wild time in our world, from the collective traumas of a global pandemic and the tension of perspectives, to the everyday complexity of navigating this human experience. It can be a challenge to find the resources and community to practice. I am deeply devoted to sharing these teachings because I believe they can help us access our inner well of resilience, compassion and collective liberation. My hope is to make this accessible to our community - near and far.

ASANA

All classes offer the intimate opportunity to deepen one’s understanding and relationship to the self. Influenced by the Ancient teachings of Tantra, Tibetan Buddhism, modern psychology and timeless poetry each class is rooted in intention and guided with an emphasis on self-exploration and discovery.

Inspired by the holistic science Ayurveda, the ebb and flow of the seasons and the elements of nature, each class is designed to bring balance to mind, body and spirit. Expect intelligent sequencing and refined alignment for a strong foundation and the deepening of your practice. Form enables freedom and expansion. Through the sacred dance of breath and movement, we move subtle energy in the body to enable cathartic release and inspire opening.

I am trained in Alignment Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, Restorative, Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy, Yoga Nidra and Meditation. Classes may include a blend of Asana, Pranayama, Marma, Mudra, Mantra, Nada Yoga of sound and mindfulness. Whether a beginner or a seasoned yogi, public classes are offered to all levels with modifications for each person to individualize his or her practice.

MEDITATION

Explore the practices of mindfulness and meditation as a lens into self-understanding, compassion and freedom. Discover your well of inner stillness accessible to every human being. Unearth ways to replenish and reset your emotional resources, cultivate stress-resilience, recalibrate your attention and tap into a place expanding your potential.

My personal practice and teachings are influenced by Buddhist wisdom and Tantra. I have received teachings from esteemed guides in the Buddhist tradition both in Northern California and India, including HH Dalai Lama. I have studied Nada yoga, mantra and vibrational healing through the use of Himalayan Singing Bowls in Nepal. I explored the cross section of these ancient traditions with modern day mindfulness through Stanford University’s Compassion Training, a program designed to improve resilience, connection and wellbeing.

Through the tools of meditation, mindfulness, yoga and vibrational healing, I offers a multi-disciplinary lens into the ways in which people may access an inner sanctuary of spacious awareness and discovery. I teach both private, public and corporate meditation courses and guided sessions.
